The "House in Sokolniki" Residential Complex (31, Rusakovskaya ulitsa) is the architectural dominant of the area, a modern architectural project with varying number of storeys (18-34), designed in the high-tech style. The light-coloured building made of glass and steel combines minimalism and functionality, lightness of structure and versatility of space. The building's composition is designed in the form of an unwinding spiral. One of the features of the façade solution is the combination of numerous bay window verticals with the horizontals of French balconies. The panoramic windows of the complex offer a picturesque view of Sokolnichesky Park.

Historically, the “House in Sokolniki” is not famous for anything yet (considering the fact that it was built in 2009) and has contributed only one colourful episode to the capital’s chronicles: in the spring of 2023, bags of dollars and euros were flying out the windows of a five-room apartment on the 22nd floor. According to media reports, the police came to the apartment owner with a search warrant. So the view from the windows, and to the windows, of the “House in Sokolniki” can rightfully be considered not only picturesque, but also promising.
