This agenda describes the “Running City 2014” event in detail and acts as a supplement to the general urban orienteering rules.

  3. Course pattern: stagewise.

    • Angel
      The classic category. Movement on foot and by public transport is allowed.
    • Atlas
      The classic category of "Running City". Course is passed via running and using public transport. For participants who are confident in their physical training.
    • Bronevik Light
      Category with no restrictions on the use of transport. You can use any personal, commercial, public transport, walking, running, etc. The route of "Light" is less long, and only a few CPS are given as puzzles.
    • Bronevik Pro
      Category with no restrictions on the use of transport. You can use any personal, commercial, public transport, walking, running, etc. Route "Pro" is longer and all the CPs are given by puzzles.
    • Centaur
    • Chimera Light
    • Chimera Pro
    • Griffin Light
      Walking or jogging. For participants who are confident in their physical training. The route of "Light" is less long, suitable to any person.
    • Griffin Pro
      Walking or jogging. For participants who are confident in their physical training. Route "Pro" is more long, suitable for people who regularly engaged in cross-country sports.
    • Horseman-Light
      Category for cyclists. Participants are highly desirable to have cycling experience in urban environments. The protective gear (helmet, beacon) is mandatory. The route of "Light" is less long, and in theory fits to any healthy adult.
    • Horseman-Middle
    • Horseman-Pro
      Category for cyclists. Participants are highly desirable to have cycling experience in urban environments. The protective gear (helmet, beacon) is mandatory. Route "Pro" is longer and requires good physical conditions to complete.
    • Horseman-Xtra
    • Lion-Light
      Pleasure category. For those who want a leisurely walk on a given CPs. Participants can only walk. The route of "Light" is distinguished by the fact that all the CPs are given by specific addresses. The course is not timed, course time is not considered during results calculation.
    • Lion-Pro
      Pleasure category. For those who want a leisurely walk on a given CPs. Participants can only walk. Route "Pro" is distinguished by the fact that some CP are given by puzzles. The course is not timed, course time is not considered during results calculation.
    • Lion-Xtra

      All the CP are given in the form of riddles. Moving between them - on foot or by public transport, that is necessary to think over and logistics. For those who think they are clever, and the usual "exact" addresses - "boring". The route of "Light" is less long as well as puzzles are less complex.
